Reed Morley is being held for the murder of his wife before trial when his brother Clayt Morley turns up and tells Marshal Matt Dillon that his brother would not murder a woman. Her threatens the Marshal that if this slur on the family name is not removed, if his brother doesn’t walk out of the courtroom as a free man Matt will not live to see Reed Morley hang.
