Marion Davies and J. Farrell MacDonald recreate the roles they played in the 1933 film version. Davies is Margaret “Peg” O'Connell and Farrell MacDonald her father Pat who live in a fishing village in Ireland. A gentleman named Gerald Markham arrives from England to inform Pat that his daughter is to inherit two million pounds from her grandfather. But it is not without conditions. Peg must spend three years with the Chichester family to be educated and her father Pat must never see her again.
