Lum was placed under arrest by the judge for bribery after he gave Cedric $4 to lie in court. He has had to pay $100 to bail him out. Lum tells Adner he's going to get Squire Skimps lawyer to defended him when his bribery trial comes up and if Cedric doesn't stop trying to help Lum, he's going to need a good lawyer!
