At one time, according to Greek mythology, mankind dwelled in a perfect paradise, and then a young lady named Pandora, permitted her curiosity to get the better of her, opened a forbidden box, and thus loosed upon the world all manner of suffering and sorrow. Since then, all men look back upon a paradise lost. What must it have been like to live in a world without conflict, sorrow, disease or death? We will never know. But future generations may, for science is slowly but surely finding remedies for all the ills of Pandora's box, so in the next hundred or even maybe thousand years from now, there may be paradise restored.
