The Lone Ranger and his Indian companion, Tonto, were riding along the trail outside of the town of Dryrock, on their way back to their camp. It was a hot, dusty day on the trail, and if the dry weather kept up, it would be disastrous for many of the farmers in the area. Suddenly, a shot rings out on the trail ahead of them, and they see a man laid out on ground. He is a young man, and he's badly wounded, so they took the unconscious man to their camp, where they could give more attention to his wound.
