Chester's got a touch of the heebie jeebies - gut feeling that something bad is about to happen. Not long after, Billy goes to see Matt at the saloon to tell him that he overheard a couple of men over at the livery stable. One of them offered to kill the Marshal for $1000 in gold, and the other one took him up on it. So now Matt knows that someone has been hired to kill him - but he is still no wiser to who that hired killer is!
