Like many of her colleagues in the teaching profession, Our Miss Brooks, Madison High School's English teacher watched the year 1938 come to an end with mixed emotions. As she puts it... "Although the year didn't start off brilliantly, or develop too sensationally, it certainly wound up in a blaze of nothing!"
