It's late afternoon as we enter the small house, where we find Mr Victor Gook and his son, Mr Rush Gook. Mr Victor Gook has drawn the kitchen table over by the sink where the light is best, and is doing a spot of office work at home. Mr Rush Gook, who just this moment arrived from school, removes his cap and overcoat and asks if he is okay to talk.
