Harry Tate calls Maud after 14 years and her bitter Aunt Lettie is not very happy. Maud looks after her ailing 90-year-old aunt who does nothing but complains and taunts her niece. Aunt Lettie wears a pearl necklace worth $100,000, which one day will be Maud’s but she threatens to call her solicitor and change her will. Maud does her best for her aunt but her aunt continually moans and insults her until Maud comes to realise that she has wasted and lost the last 14 years of her life.
