From the living room of a small house that has seen better days a small light shines out in the early evening. George Denning hasn't painted for years and needs money for him and his daughter Grace to survive on. He gets the money from Dr Tarleton by selling him his brain as Dr Tarleton tells him that they need creative brains to experiment on.Then later that same day Dr Tarleton is discovered dead and it looks as though he has been murdered. The last person to see Dr Tarlton alive was a man named Mr Macabre whose description was the same as George Denning.
