At the sanatorium Dr Blair is doing everything to restore his patient who was once a great scientist back to health and wonders why he wishes his death. He denies wishing his death and states that he doesn’t wish it but knows it will come. He explains that he has been told about his death by some supernatural being and that there are more things in heaven and earth than he could dream of.
