Henry needs a new suit and Mrs Brown knowing that Mrs Aldrich doesn’t want to spend unnecessary money offers her a suit of Homer’s, which has been worn only once. Homer’s uncle had sent it to him and Homer had refused to wear it even though his mother had said that the suit would make people stop and look at him. It sure would, with its bright checks! Mrs Brown thought it would teach Homer a lesson by giving the suit away but of course Homer is glad not to have to wear it and poor Henry has to endure the ridicule.
