Well it is generally accepted that it's women who try to keep their ages a secret but this theory was disproved this week at Madison  High School where our Miss Brooks teaches English by our beloved principal Osgood Conklin who celebrated a birthday last Monday. When asked how old he was he replied, "a person is only as old as he feels"  and he spent the week trying to look young! Miss Brooks thought his preoccupation might mean he wouldn't have time to bother her but not so, he assigned her the task of purchasing a school bus.The problem was she was only appropriated $130 for the purchase!
