Every once in a while Chester A. Riley comes to the conclusion that he’s losing the love of his wife Peg. This time our story starts with a chair, an old corduroy covered Morris chair which Riley’s mother gave them seventeen years ago as a wedding present. Every evening Riley with a sigh of satisfaction would settle down in his old chair until one evening the springs went and so for his birthday Peg presented him with a new modern black leather chair.
