Marshal Matt Dillon and Chester are out of town near Pueblo when young Indians shoot at them and Matt takes a bullet in the leg. They manage to get away and make their way to a nearby cabin. A mean old lady by the name of Nettie Sitton lives there alone and lets Matt and Chester in but takes their money and anything they have worth anything including their guns and horses.
