Young Dan Reid learns from his grandma the fate of his mother and father all those years ago. This story also tells the tale of how the Lone Ranger met Tonto and how all the other rangers including Dan’s father were killed by Indians and the realisation that The Lone Ranger is Dan’s uncle.
