Even by the standards of today, the face of this young woman who lived fourteen hundred years before Christ, is a miracle of balance. Her name was Nerfertiti, which translated from ancient Egyptian means behold the beautiful woman. But her beauty was more than skin deep. Nefertiti had spirit, decisiveness, a modern woman.
