On his journey back to the station house Captain Kennelly stops at a disturbance at a drug store. A young woman has been detained for stealing a hypodermic syringe and needle from the pharmacist. After questioning her, Kennelly realises that the woman wasn't stealing for herself, but for someone else. But who would need a syringe and needle?
