First show of 1952 and Dean Martin has received a lot of letters asking if his partner Jerry Lewis is as nutty off the air as he is on. Dean replies, “believe me both of them are idiots!” When Dean asks Jerry why he behaves like an idiot Jerry says that there are three reasons, first he likes to make people laugh, second, he’s a fun loving guy who likes to have a lot of fun and third, he is an idiot
