United States Marshall, Tom Mix, his deputy Mike Shaw and their friend all work on Tom's ranch. The men have been attending a meeting at the Cattle Man's Association which has just ended. Tom and his friends are talking together in the great hall, when one of the men approaches him to discuss their ranches.
