The 1942 Columbia picture My Sister Eileen is a comedy starring Rosalind Russell as Ruth Sherwood a writer and Janet Blair as her sister and aspiring actress Eileen Sherwood. Brian Aherne plays the part of Bob Baker a magazine editor who wants to help them with their careers. They all play the same roles they played for the screen and in which Miss Russell was nominated for the 1942 academy award.
