In the early days, when gun law ruled the range, the local sheriffs were unable to protect the honest ranchers from the bands of outlaws roaming the new territory. It wasn't until the Lone Ranger started his fight for justice, that these criminals met a force stronger that their own. At the Mustang ranch, Missouri and Mags have been on the receiving end of these outlaws, and Missouri has been laid up in bed for two weeks now with his injuries. Mags managed to get word to the Lone Ranger of what happened, and we soon hear the pounding hooves of Silver and Scout as the men arrive at the ranch to help.
