Mark Crane truck driver is found shot to death on a lonely road and obviously his murder is the work of hijackers but it is later learned that the truck was travelling empty. Also Billy Johnson the dead mans rider had been missing since the murder and to add to the mystery Linda the dead mans wife who came to Blackie to report her husband missing later denies that she’s ever seen Blackie before.
