Frank Jackson is in prison and has eleven days before he is to be executed for the murder of his own brother. He claims he is innocent and is telling the truth but no one believes his story. He was going to become a lawyer as was his brother Bryan. Bryan was against capital punishment concerned that an innocent man may be condemned to the death penalty. To prove this Bryan suggested that they plan a mock murder in which they would stage Frank killing Bryan in front of several witnesses and then afterwards Bryan would undertake his defense and prove that he was innocent.
