Sherlock Holmes has been asked by the foreign office to attend the Cirque Royale, entrusted to keep a watchful eye on a famous Prince with considerable position and responsibilities, who has become quite serious about a femme fatale bareback rider, Madame Giselle. It's a delicate position, as the foreign office are deeply concerned over the matter, but Sherlock Holmes needs to protect him all the same. They will begin with a trick, to see if Giselle is only attentive to the Prince because she knows who he is. Watson is going to attempt luring the attentions of Gisele away from the Prince, by posing as a man with title, and deeper pockets....
