Tonight's story opens in a record shop. Albums of symphonic recordings fill the shelves along one wall, and across the room are several soundproofed booths in which prospective customers may listen to records. Shirley Boynton, a clerk, is talking over the telephone but needs to ask her boss. Heading to his office, she discovers that he's dead!
