Brad Runyon and Cathy were about to set off for a picnic that Brad had promised Cathy. But as they were about to set off a woman entered his office claiming to need help and be in terrible trouble. She offered him $200 and for $200 he’d do anything, including putting off his picnic. Before the woman could explain who she was or what her troubles were she fainted and when she came to she was suffering from amnesia. All that Brad had to go on was a wedding ring she had in her pocket bearing the inscription “To Laura June 16 1940”…
