Chudley Stoner finds himself mixed up in a real life murder, which is as puzzling as any he has dealt with in fiction. He had just got back from Paris yesterday and his secretary had gone with him but he did not return, the French police say he committed suicide but Mr Stoner is convinced that he didn’t as he had everything to live for.
