Brad Runyon was sitting in his office on this hot day and hoping that nothing was going to happen when the phone rings. It’s Joshua Hearnely of 1032 Fairview Avenue and he is just trying to explain to Brad that someone is trying to kill him to steal his money. He implores Runyon to help him and then the phone falls silent. When Runyon arrives at his house he finds him dead slumped over a chair, a bottle of whisky nearby and a bullet hole in his throat.
