As we look in on the little community today, we find Squire Skimp in the Jot 'em Down store and restaurant talking to Lum. They're discussing when Mr Duncan Hines will be arriving in Pine Ridge. Squire wants to know so that he can write a short newspaper article, which will also create some free publicity for the restaurant, but Lum doesn't know.
