Mothers Day

Mothers Day

Broadcast: May 1, 1935
Starring: Will Rogers
Added: Jul 18 2010
Oklahoma philosopher Will Rogers performs his own natural stand-up comedy with his thoughts on Mother’s Day. He comments that it’s a beautiful day but the hurting conscience that thought of the idea and the florists ran with it. It’s very funny. He goes on to say without being disrespectful “a mother and a dog is the only two things that have eternal love no matter how you treat them. Maybe someday we’ll have dog day too…”
