Mr. Gough, a graduate of the Harvard business school, wants a job in the bank. He is standing in the office of Mr. Purley, a bank manager. He sells himself superbly to his prospective employer, but everything he says is completely phony. The innocent, if slightly naïve, Mr. Purley offers Mr. Gough the job. It is a mistake that will, if the new employees scheme goes as planned, cost the bank $100,000.
