Last night in the Goldberg house, everyone retired to his or her room, frustrated and doubtful, for Mikey Bloom has decided to play the role of Galahad, to save his friend Sammy from his crazy infatuation with Emma, the selfish, self-seeking young woman who has found a place among the sympathetic Goldbergs.
