Few of us achieve the prominence of a mention in the public press. Our young hero Dennis made it once when he became the only man in the history of Weaverville school to enter the eight grade under the GI Bill of Rights! But real fame has always eluded him until today. He has just pushed oped the front door of the Anderson house in a state of wild excitement to come face to face with his girlfriend Mildred. He is expecting a photograph in the newspaper of him along side an article but discovers someone else's photo has been put with his story.
Later, because of a transposed newspaper photograph the Andersons think that Dennis Day is really Skyler Vanrensilear suffering from amnesia and heir to a fortune.
