The Lineup take you now behind the scenes of a police headquarters in a great American city where under the cold, glaring lights will pass before you the innocent, the vagrant, the thief, the murderer.

Mary Jane Cummings has gone missing after going to show and John Enright friend of the family saw her getting in to a car with a man. However he only recognised the car and the coat the man was wearing but agrees to look at 8 men in a line up to see if he recognises any of them as the man. He can’t be sure it was any of the men in the line-up. Three days later a woman is discovered dead by a lake and it looks like she has been shot.
