Two ladies visit Simon Templar for his help finding missing orchestra member Mary Miller. The girls are from an all girls orchestra known as The Angels. Templar tells them the same as the Missing Persons Bureau that just because a girl trombone player has been missing for 36 hours it is nothing to worry about. However later a guy turns up and warns him off looking for the missing girl.
