Aunt Mary and her niece Ronnie are aboard a ship on their way to New York. Four immigrant children, three boys and a girl sit below deck staring at Mary and Ronnie just waiting for America. The children are looking forward to a life in the land of the free but Ronnie has forgotten how beautiful her own country is. The children remind her that there is always hope and that the American way is the human way.
