Despite being a success on television, Milton Berle was never able to make it big on the radio. Perhaps the shows were not as successful as Berle was hoping for because of his heavy reliance on slapstick, something which has never worked all that well on the radio. However, the shows are filled with numerous gags, which are funny, and Berle has excellent support from Stang, Albertson, Begley and Bryan.
