Johnny has got his heart set on a trout fishing trip in New York State when Pat McCracken from the Universal Adjustment Bureau calls. He has a completely different fishing trip in mind. It is a trip that involves Johnny heading down to Las Vegas to see a guy called Jake Kestler who tells him a strange tale of lakes, mines, oil, ranching and $1.5 million of double indemnity insurance.
