The sun was high overhead as the Lone Ranger, Dan and Tonto rode slowly through the lush valley that was studded with trees and gigantic boulders. The western boundary of the valley was a gentle slope, but the eastern side was a sheer cliff which rose above the tallest trees and then sloped back to form Bears Head mountain. Tonto signals at them to stop so that he can check the ground where he spotted an Indian moccasin print - and sure enough, soon an arrow is fired at the Lone Ranger!
