Jane Sherlock, amateur detective, and her fiancé, attorney Peter Blossom, go to a French restaurant to meet Jane’s friend Beth Ellis. Jane asks Peter to wear a beret to make her friend feel at home. Wilma is late for the appointment as she is out shopping for a ring for Wilma’s widow. Puzzled? Peter certainly is but listen and all will be revealed!
