The incidents behind this play occurred after the First World War and was made into a film by Paramount pictures in 1945. The leading actors all reprise their original film roles, Dorothy Lamour as Lolita, Arturo de Cordova as Joe, J. Carrol Naish as Charlie and Mikhail Rasumny as Raphael.
