Sherlock Holmes is assigned to find the missing crown jewel, a large yellow stone known as the Mazarin stone. Holmes knows that a man named Count Sylvius has the stone and that Sylvius has come to see Mr Holmes to find out how much he knows and what evidence he has against him. However Sherlock Holmes uses the Count’s visit to find out where the stone is.
