I can remember a day, perhaps you can too, when a man became a celebrity for a short while, for sitting on a flight bowl. Then there was a fetching celebrity named Willie Sutton who robbed banks, because (as he said) that's where the money is. Most people felt rather badly when, after a long career, Willie was shot down near a police station. A tennis player named Gussie Moran became a celebrity, because although she played an excellent game, she caught public fancy for wearing ruffled panties under her tennis dress.
