This episode begins with Boston Blackie and Mary Wesley at a dinner party at the Masters home. The host, Roger Masters, comes over to welcome them. Blackie asks if the man playing the piano is Roger's brother, Harvey. Roger says it is Roger, back from Georgia with Georgia, his fiancée. It seems she is one of a long line of Harvey's brides to be. Blackie then inquires of the hostess, and Roger comments that she must still be getting ready, she always seems to be delayed when she's to be wearing the Masters diamond, which is pretty well known. Then, all of a sudden, Inspector Faraday arrives at the party to inform everyone that the Masters diamond is missing and Mrs. Masters is upstairs murdered!
