Mildred is determined to win the $25 at the masquerade ball that night so that she can help her boyfriend Dennis pay for the fender he damaged on Mr Snettiker’s car. With the help of Dennis she decides that she will go as Amber from the Story “Forever Amber”. But when Mildred’s mother forbids her to go as Amber Mildred decides that the only way they will win the prize is if Dennis goes as Amber!
