In addition to being Boston Blackie’s best friend Mary Wesley is a registered nurse. As such she is called in on a case in a private home. The patient injured when hit by an automobile speaks privately to a man he thinks is his doctor and reveals the truth about his brother. When Mary is released from duty suddenly she becomes suspicious and returns to the home with Boston Blackie they are surprised by what they discover.
