A man sits alone in his rich apartment in New York City. He's morose, lost and depressed as his wife has left him. If you were a friend of his, you'd go and spend some time with him, have a few drinks, listen to some music and try to cheer him up. Tonight, some of his 'friends' did, but unfortunately, it resulted in a night of terror. Things would never be the same again.
