As far as Anne was aware Manuel Abello came in to America on a visa and according to the conditions it would be come null and void if he leaves the country even for an hour. Anne and Manuel went back to Mexico to get married. On their way back to America Anne told him that she never did love him and was leaving him in the next town and had played him for a sucker. She was planning on divorcing him and suing him for alimony and if he didn’t agree she threatens that she will report him for breaching his visa. However it is Anne who has been taken for a sucker.
