When Homer who is new to Riversedge turns up at Dr Christians surgery at first he and Judy think he has come with an ailment but he actually wants a job as a winder cleaner. In time Dr Christian notices that he has a problem with his arm but Homer refuses to accept any help. Dr Christian realizes that Homer who shows a love of music used to be a pianist before he hurt his arm. In a way only Dr Christian knows how, he comes to help Homer to help himself.
